Lodging

Lodging in Grand Marais is plentiful.  The campground is located adjacent to the Field House/Community Center where the symposium is headquartered.  Most motels are within easy walking distance of the field house and Grand Marais harbor. Join out community hub, padlet to connect with other participants if you’re looking to share lodging. 

Camping – Woodland Park in Grand Marais

This sandy, wooded campground overlooks the breathtaking Lake Superior beach in a stand of mixed pines and hardwoods with facilities for the entire family. Owned and operated by Burt Township, Woodland Park is a full service campground with 125 grassy sites plus group areas, fire pits, two bath houses, cable TV, electric, water hook-ups, dump station, new open air picnic gazebo, playground, basketball & tennis courts, and public phone with good paved and gravel interior roads.
